The Long Range Desert Group of the British Army WW2, otherwise know as the Long Range Desert Patrol, one of the most famous Long Range Recon of World War Two. Here Phil Willetts shows the desert military vehicles in acrylic art paintings and drawings at their best.
Painted on Acrylic canvas textured paper 300gsm or 140lb with a overall size of16x20 inches (405mm x 508mm).
The LRDG was formed specifically to carry out deep penetration, covert reconnaissance patrols and intelligence missions from behind Italian lines, although they sometimes engaged in combat operations.  Here Phil has captured LRDG SAS Patrol 1942 inside Libya.
